Disable Time, a band based in Fairfield, Connecticut, thrives to bring original music, fresh sonic booms and sounds to the musical world that has yet been pursued. With experimentation of many different genres, the trio has solidified their sound in the past two years and a half years. Disable Time has now released a 5 track album titled, Since The Day We Walked Out Of Water.
Guitar: The first time he heard the guitar solo in the Scorpions’ “Rock You Like a Hurricane” at the age of 15, Kevin O’Brien knew he had to learn to play. He picked up his first guitar soon after and began playing over his favorite rap songs. This self-taught artist lists Slash, Jimi Hendrix, and Synester Gates of Avenged Sevenfold as his main influences. His quiet intensity on stage helps emphasize the melodic riffs he creates for Disable Time.
Bass: Tommy Greenwood started teaching himself the bass guitar when he was 14. What started as a way to pass time while jamming with friends quickly became an insatiable passion as he was soon playing five or more hours a day. This passion can be seen every time Tommy takes the stage for Disable Time as his fingers fly across the strings. Tommy is influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Tool, Opeth, Isis, Explosions in the Sky, Incubus, and many more.
Drums: Bryan Garbe first started drumming when he was 9 at the Jim Royle Drum studio. Since then, he has been performing, teaching, and learning as much as possible. He is an accomplished steel pan player and percussionist. Bryan has toured with his percussion ensemble at venues around the world including England, Italy, Trinidad, Tobago and China. His expansive talent allows the music of Disable Time to include an array of influences that keeps each track fresh and original. Bryan is currently endorsed by Dream Cymbals and Vater Sticks.
